On Monday, Nov. 6, a PT Cruiser registered to Johnson was found abandoned on a trail off of Brackett's Corner Road in the Brule River State Forest. The vehicle may have been there since October 23, according to local hunters.

It was not possible for authorities to locate Johnson in the area on Tuesday. A dog rescue team is assisting in the search.

The disappearance of Philip Johnson's wife, Hannah Johnson, has been described as "completely unexpected and sudden." Philip and Hannah Johnson have four children together.
